It is unusual for sculpture to be made in partnership. For us it has become a seamless, fully collaborative, and reliable way to realize new works that meld a wide range of formal, material and subject interests.

The opportunity of a twoperson show at the Royal British Society of Sculptors (RBS) in 2004 focused our working together.

We had an incentive to actualize our forays into what we referred to as “jointly authored” works. In addition, it encouraged us to formulate the idea of showing objects in ways that offer conversational relationships between pairs of our individual sculptures…
